Today I have the second layout I created during my latest Tilt Train trip. This time it is a 8x8. I went with 8x8 as I was only taking a small suitcase for our clothes and a backpack for all our other supplies needed on the trip so I could not take a 12x12 background, 8x8 meant I could get this layout scrapped and if need be add it to a 12x12 background paper layout.
For this layout I took the Hope wood veneer that is in the Scrapping Fun Kits May 2019 Awareness Kit that Jodi from Corbett Creations created for the kit along with a assortment of Yellow supplies from Scrapping Fun Kits September 2018 kit and from some old D-lish Scraps from a friend when she was destashing.
I started by tearing my papers and then I decided to use the half of the
paper bag from the September 2018 Kit that I had with me as a
journalling pocket behind my photo and layers so I sealed the cut side
with my Helmar Acid Free Glue and adhered it down.
Here is the opening of the bag.
I created a little cluster next to my Corbett Creations wood veneer with a crochet piece from the September 2018 kit and a flower and tag from D-lish Scraps that I received in the destash bundle I bought.
I finished off my layout by inking the edge with some Distress Ink in Mustard Seed.
I love how my layout turned out.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge March Guest Designer Kit Reveal
I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for Counterfeit Kit Challenge March 2017.
I love the kit inspiration from Hip Kit Club and got to work selected 12x12 papers, 6x6 papers and embellishments.

When selecting papers my focus was finding pinks, florals, butterflies and cameras while remembering that it featured a piece that was white with black florals and some gorgeous blues and aquas.
In my kit I included these papers left over from my Kitaholic Kits January Main Kit as they have the lovely soft aqua & gorgeous peacock colour that I noticed on some of the papers in the kit from Hip Kit Club. I also grabbed out the enamel shapes and the die cuts from this kit as I know there are some bits in these that may suit.
I just love the little hearts and need them in my kit.

Aren't these 6x6 papers just gorgeous. They gave me some extra options for my kit that are just perfect.
I went through my embellishments and stickers looking for florals and butterflies and keeping in mind the colours.
These sticker sheets from Kaisercraft were perfect for this kit. I also included this little kit I got for free that is from Instax as it has some pink paper that may suit and some cute stickers and washi. These tags were a lovely bit to add to my kit and lastly this lovely trim my friend Seryn gave me.
I knew I wanted to get out the left overs of my Berry Bliss embellishment kit from D-lish Scraps as it has some gorgeous pink and teal bits in it.
I noticed the kit from Hip Kit Club has some gold hearts and bits so I grabbed out these gold stickers from a kit from Paper Pretty and these gold chipboard stickers I just recieved in a RAK from Kylie.
My focus on butterflies I decided to include these gorgeous butterfly buttons and these butterfly wood veneer from Corbett Creations that were included in a butterfly themed kit from Rainbow Splendour also from that kit I included a epoxy flair, journal cards, felt bow and a doily.
I love this sticker sheet with the gorgeous camera on it.
And finally these gorgeous file folders I got for $1 last week at a shop that was closing down.
My final step was to find some letters.
I am really looking forward to playing with my kit.
I hope you get into your stash and join in the fun that is the Counterfiet Kit Challenge.

Scrapbooking Memories Masters Challenge 2016 - Rainbow - Goodbye Is Hard
Task 3 in Scrapbooking Memories Masters Challenge 2016 was "Scrap a layoutthat features the colours of the rainbow. This months magazine features some stunning examples of using the colours of the rainbow in a layout.
I started by playing with a white sheet of cardstock and the colours of the rainbow in Distress Ink, Distress Stain, Mr Huey's Sprays and Dylusions Sprays. I just played to create a rainbow to inspire me but then I continued to play with stamping, gesso, ink splats, etc and I wound up not wanting to waste it so I used it as my background.
Then I went through my flower stash to add another dimension of Rainbow to the layout.Once I had chosen my photos I chose some die cuts and a scrap of blue paper to suit the photos and pull it all together.
I do love the result.
In addition to ink pads, sprays and stains I used metal flowers from D-lish Scraps, crocheted flowers from Kaszazz, paper flowers from Lincraft and from the jar I bought at the Destash Market, die cut fence and hearts I got in a swap, black thread, Viva Paint Pen in teal, brads, music washi, red ribbon roses, paper from Atlantic 12x12 paper pad from American Crafts, black cardstock, white cardstock.

Scrapbooking Memories Masters Challenge 2016- Lego Fun
Now that the Scrapbooking Memories Masters have been revealed I am blown away by the various things others used for Task 2. My favourites are
The baby socks, just gorgeous and something I had planned on doing once my grandaughter grows out of those cute little socks. On that note I would like to inform you that my first Grandchild arrived on November 23rd, Evelyn is just gorgeous.
The fans, so gorgeous.
And the Party Hat, I saved a couple of the paper bags I used for Mr E's party in November to use in a layout of his Birthday.
In addition to flat lego bricks I used a cute silver ute charm, cork stars from a old D-lish Scraps Just Add Paper Kit and pieces from a cut apart from The Paper Loft called Dude words and titles.

Scrapbooking Memories Masters 2016 Prompts - Double Layout That Tells A Aspect Of You
I loved the prompts in Scrapbooking Memories Masters Challenge 2016 and decided to use them to challenge myself. I changed my mind regarding submitting my layouts many times as doing them was about challenging myself more than anything. I wound up submitting them but I was not chosen. It was a fantastic experience and I really recommend giving it a go.
It was great getting this story told.
I used papers from Aldi, Ranger Clock Faces & Hands, resin roses & bird from Dlish Scraps Just Add Paper Kit Berry Bliss, Crocheted Flower from Kaszazz, paper doily, stickers from BoBunny Ambrosi, stickers from Teresa Collins Fabrications, metal buttons from a local haberdashery shop, paper flowers from a local craft store, paper flower from a local cheap shop, Creative Memories alphabet.

Taking Minimal Supplies - Scrapping on a Train
I was unsure how long I would be staying down to help my daughter after the birth of my granddaughter so I took 1 bag of scrapping supplies.
Unfortunately I wound up having to come home much earlier than I expected and so I scrapped for 10 minutes on the train as I was rather stressed.
So glad I precut papers to 8x8 as anything bigger was not doable on the fold down table.
The passengersthat were booked for the seats directly across from me didn't turn up so the lady next to me asked if she could move there so I did have a seat vacant next to me to put supplies on which made it a little easier to scrap. The lady was also crafting, she was doing some lovely embroidery and also spread her supplies on the vacant seat next to her.
I took the 8x8 album I am working on.
I trimmed down 3 sheets from a 12x12 pad of Kraft cardstock from Kaisercraft and 5 sheets of white cardstock.
I took all I have left of Kaisercraft Ivy Crush.
My 2 6x6 pads from My Mind's Eye Noteable range that Heike gave me.
A bag of purple, white and yellow paper and felt flowers.
1 white doily, my yellow doily and purple doily.
A pack Instax baby girl themed die cuts.
The Instax freebie from Harvey Norman that was claimable in Better Homes and Gardens.
November's Just Add Paper Kit from D-lish Scraps.
A pack of baby girl themed embellishments from the LA DE DAH range
Jenni B baby stickers
Stickers from My Minds Eye Lime Twist range.
My 12 inch Trimmer.
Helmer Professional Acid Free Glue in a ziploc bag just in case.
My Smiggle case that is always packed with basic adhesive and small tool needs.
Here is the layout I whipped up. It still needs the date of the photo to finish it but I am happy with what I created on a small fold down table on a train.
So don't let limited space stop you from crafting.
What out places have you scrapped?

ARTastic November Challenge
I needed to get some more scrapping done, I really wanted to finish the layouts for my daughter before baby Squirtle arrived but after this one I still have 8 to go so I have packed 1 bag of supplies to take with me in case I get a chance to scrap.
The Charms Creations heart and D-lish Scraps heart work wo well together.
I love the vintage lace from Mum's stash. I am really loving including Mum's sewing supplies in my scrapbooking.
This piece of doily is just so lovely.
The flower has a lovely blending of blues in the centre.
I love this cute vintage button. I have only 1 left now.
I gave myself a few 20 minutes on Sunday and 30 on Monday to finish this layout for ARTastic November Challenge. Using the second baby bump photo.
I started by pulling out embellishments that they artwork had me drawn to, including vintage white and blue lace from my Mum's sewing stash, a piece of vintage doily that reminds me of leaves, these cute Apricot flowers and sky blue crocheted heart from D-lish Scraps, this cute heart from Charms Creations, some vintage metal buttons, Kaisercraft white mini roses, blue mini roses from the cheap shop and this cute blue paper flower that I got at the Destash Market (it is the only one like it in the entire pack of flowers and it is perfect for this layout).
I used a TCW stencil designed by Gabrielle Pollacco and Mister Huey's Color Mist in Warm Calico as the artwork has a tree trunk in the top left corner so I decided to add something brown as I don't have any tree trunk stencils or stamps I used a leafy vine.
I wanted to Gesso the page after doing this so I could experiment with that effect, I applied the Gesso in a thin layer over the section of the stenciling I wanted to show and thicker elsewhere in random strokes.

I then used Distress Stain in Tumbled Glass and Mister Huey's Color Mist in Powder Blue with water to get the rest of the colour I needed.

I like how the leaves on teh vine turned out.
Papers used include scraps from My Mind's Eye Collectable "Unforgettable" 6x6 paper pad that Heike gave me for my Birthday. Thank you Heike I am getting so much use out of this wonderful paper pad.
I have also used a scrap from a background I did for a layout in April that I was unable to share the finished layout online, I did share a close up of the background on my Facebook and Instagram.
I am really happy with the results of this layout and can't wait to give this album to my daughter.
Are you participating in any challenges this month?

D-lish Scraps November 2016 Moodboard
I absolutely love this month's D-lish Scraps Inspiration Board and Just Add Paper Kit as they feature my 2 favourite colours and it was perfect for doing another layout in my daughter's pregnancy album.
My daughter's album is a 8x8 so there is the added challenge of limited space when creating but I love the results.

The flowers and doily in the Peacock Paradise kit are just stunning.
The kit worked beautifully with bits from 2 previous kits, Berry Blast and Plus One.
I wanted this layout to coordinate with my layout for Aussie Crafter's June Challenge so I used scraps of the papers I used on that layout.

Kraft+ September Moodboard Layout
Sorry there has been a gap in content, I have been working on a few special projects that can't be shared for some time and they needed to be created before working on this months Challenges and other layouts. I have also been reorganising my craft space so that I could set up a camera to film process videos and tutorials, this impacted my craft time but now that I am all set up I am looking forward to more crafting time.
Now that my camera is set up this was going to be my first process video but unfortunately at the end I discovered I hadn't hit record like I thought I had, so sorry my next layout will have to be my first process video. I have done a walk through video instead.
I love that Kraft+ Challenge is encouraging double layouts this month so I created a double 8x8 layout for the album I am doing for my daughter and her pregnancy journey.
As usual I started by going through my embellishments for items in the colours of the moodboard.
I selected die cuts from Kaisercraft Charlotte's Dream Collectables that the colours reminded me of watermelons and honeydew melons, white die cut butterflies I recieved in a die cut swap which I then coloured with CTMH blue and pink mini pigment inks, gorgeous apricot flowers from D-lish Scraps, honeyew melon shade of green mini paper roses from Kaisercraft.
I selected a few papers from this paper pad from Studio Calico that had melon colours in.
I chose this goreous paper as it had lovely watermelon pinks, a lovely honeydew hint of green, a small amount of rockmelon orange and I loved those yellow dots.
I selectively cut the paper so that I could have the most of the different melon colours showing without losing too much behind photos or losing too much of the Kraft paper as that is the hero of this challenge.
I also used the top strip from 2 sheets in the pad that are pink and blue and cut flags from them to use on the pages.
I love the softness of the ink on the white die cut butterflies.
Butterflies are a feature througout her album as a butterfly is in the logo for HG Awareness. I thought the ribbon was purple and blue but I wish to correct myself the Awareness logo is pink and blue.
This is a difficult layout to photograph as the photos are not great quality due to it being in a A&E with dimmed lights and a very stressful situation but I felt as Hyperemisis Gravidarum is such a significant part of her pregnancy journey documenting her A&E trips, Hospital admissions, etc was very important.
I loved the photo series in the right hand side as it is her youngest brother who is a real hugger sneaking to give her one of his big hugs and our second youngest being very gentle and just leaning near her as he was so worried about her.

D-lish Scraps August Moodboard
I loved the triangles in this month's D-lish Scraps Inspiration Board and the colour scheme gave me a excuse to opened 2 of my favourite 6x6 paper pads. I chose to use a photo of my son that I quickly took during a tour of the High School he will go to next year in the STEM room, he was having a bad pain day so a smile was not going to happen despite how happy and excited he was about a STEM room.
I selected 3 papers from each paper pad and cut triangles from each paper with my 12 inch trimmer.
I picked out these items from my leftovers from the June 2015 Just Add Paper Kit from D-lish Scraps as I felt they could be useful in the layout.
I also grabbed my DIY Enamel Dots as the dark blue would suit this layout, some yellow embroidery floss and a selection of die cuts from Kaisercraft Garage Days.
I wished I had more than 1 of the cute paper straws left but I made do by cutting it into 6 pieces to adhere under my photo mat.
Happy Litttle Mistakes again changed how I expected to do my layout. I used a different adhesive that wasn't as repositionable as the one I prefer and I needed to reposition some of my triangles which caused some small tears so I used the embroider floss, tire die cuts and some gears to hid the tears, they were only 3 small tears but if I only covered them the page didn't feel finished so I added more to help it feel balanced.
