Happy Birthday - Scapping Fun Kits Design Team

I am up on the Scrapping Fun Kits blog today with a bonus post about the card I made for my Best Friends Birthday which is Today hence the late share as I am dropping off her card and present Today and won't be hitting publish until she recieves it.

This kit was inspired by her love of pink so I had to use it for her Birthday Card, in addition to her card my boys made my Mother's Day card with the kit so it was well used.

I chose to use the lovely floral paper, the pink trim, my last flower from the cut apart and the rolled rose which was part of the little bonus the Earlybirds recieve on my card.

I edged the paper with some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.

I have these lovely silver number stickers I got from my DD last year from my local cheap shop, they have 4 little flowers on the sheet so I added 1 to my cluster to pull the silver in.

I love doing more complex cards but simple cards like this I find to be rather special.

Pink Planner Spread - Scrapping Fun Kits Design Team

I am up on the Scrapping Fun Kits blog today with this Planner Spread that I used the June Kit to create.
Morgyn and myself were discussing our planner funk and so I challenged her to do a planner spread each month using the current kit and she returned the challenge.  Hopefully this will get us both planning more as using my planner really does help me.

In addition to the Tassel Clip in the Kit I made a clip with one of the Fabric Buttons so that I would have a couple of cute clips availabe to bookmark important things this month.

I also have some cute clips that I got from the Studio Fourteen 40

As I had used the gorgeous rose washi from the June Kit to reinforce my pages I wanted  to add some 7mm rose washi I got from Chiogami Designs about 3 years ago to my page edges to help balance things.
I trimmed it in half lengthways so that it didn't go over onto the days of the week.
If you haven't done this before just place a strip of washi (I prefer to go a little longer than I need) on  the cut line of your trimmer so that it is approximately half way on each side  of the cut line and trim.

I also used one of the flowers from the cut apart in the June Kit in the bottom right corner to cover the checklist.

The cute mailbox sticker is from Lady B Creations mark when I will be posting the July kits to those who have paid.

As mentioned previously June's kit is inspired by friendship and one of my best friends who inspired this kit is celebrating her 40th at the end of the month so instead of sticking a birthday sticker on her Birthday I decided to theme the week using the June Kit.

I am looking forward to adding plans into this spread.

Today is the last day to take advantage of the discount code for renewing or starting a subscription in July, if you haven't renewed or subscribed yet and would love to get one of our kits in the mail then please fill out the form on the Subscribe Tab.

June Challenge List

Welcome to the June Challenge List, and with it I am marking 1 Year since I made my first list, August I will be celebrating 1 year of doing the List on this Blog.  I am so excited to be still sharing this list with you and I love how this has been embraced.

I will continue to update the Challenge List as more challenges go up throughout the month, so please check back regularly and see what wonderful challenges have been added.

Due to positive feedback I will continue to split the list into Australian based challenges and International challenges, so make sure you scroll through and check out all the wonderful challenges as many allow entries from all over the world.
Please if I have put a challenge into the wrong catagory let me know, I worked hard to be correct but we can all make mistakes.

Please if there are any Challenges you are aware of that I have missed let me know.I am really loving participating in Challenges, it is getting me to craft more often, to do projects I may otherwise save to do later, and some there is the added challenge of completing them when I have limited supplies that meet the requirements but that just adds to the fun.
So now for the list, I will provide a link to each challenge that has a direct link for it and either their Facebook page, website, shop, whichever is appropriate so you have all the details you could possibly need.
Those that are in a Facebook Group I will link to the group, please contact admins of the group to let them know you are joining to participate in the challenges or look at the challenges as some admins have requested this due to the waiting list.

Project Life

Here is a list of Challenges that would suit creating Project Life layouts.  Note I do need to check the challenges that are new to the list and update this sublist.  I will update shortly.

Scrap the Boys have said they will accept PL layouts.
Scrap the Girls have said they will accept PL layouts.
Kraft+ Challenge accepts tradition layouts, art journalling, tags, etc so this challenge would suit PL I think.
Pixels and Paper accepts all forms of Scrapbooking and Memory Keeping.
ARTastic Challenge Blog accepts all forms of Scrapbooking as entries.
Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia accepts PL entries.
Show us your stuff accepts PL entries.
Scrapbook Boutique accepts scrapbooking, off the page, etc so I think it would suit PL.  The new challenge is posted on the 10th of each month.
Dusty Attic states in the August Moodboard Entry Rules (so assuming it is the same) that your project can be anything you desire including layouts, cards or off the page so it sounds like PL will be accepted.

My scrappy friends who only scrap when at a crop, or who have stopped or reduced their time scrapping for any reason I think you will love some of these, have a look at each challenge and see what appeals to you.  Try to do one by the end of the month.
