Scrap The Boys Challenge and a Colour Challenge from Scrapping Good Time

I promised myself I would participate in a Scrapbooking Challenge this month and with 2 days to spare I did it.
I loved the Colour Challenge from Scrapping Good Times use Yellow, Black and Light Blue.

I had this paper pad from Studio Calico that had a black paper covered in constellations so when I thought of it in the middle of the night last night I knew I wanted to use this paper for the boys and my trip to the Planetarium.
I have been promising myself I will get involved with Scrap the Boys challenges as there is so little in the scrapbooking world for those of us who scrapbook the boys in our lives and I love that this blog encourages this, I really liked the Sketch for this month so I have combined the 2.

I have used some die cuts from Kaisercraft Garage Days Collectables, some Kaisercraft Enamel Shapes, the last of my chipboard stars, some old Creative Memories alphas and dug out some of my old punches to punch some stars out of yellow cardstock and the background blue paper.
All papers are from the Studio Calico paper pad.
I like how it turned out, it was a quick scrap once I knew what I wanted to use and pulled out coordinating supplies so perfect for someone as time poor as I am that needs to get some crafting in their day.
